The Sollae Systems SIG‑5601 is an industrial‑grade, cloud‑enabled 4‑port I/O gateway that makes it easy to bring sensors and equipment online for remote monitoring, alarming, and control. With 4 analog inputs, 4 digital inputs (with counters), 4 relay outputs, and both Ethernet and Wi‑Fi, it connects directly to the free so you can view data, receive email alerts, and control devices from any web browser—PC, tablet, or smartphone.

Easy to Use – From Power‑On to Cloud in a Few Steps

The SIG‑5601 is designed to be deployed quickly by technicians and engineers without custom software:

1. Wire and power the gateway
   • Connect sensors to the 4 analog input ports (0–5 V, 4–20 mA, or 0–20 mA selectable)
   • Connect switches, meters, or contacts to the 4 digital input ports (wet/dry, NPN, PNP, 4.5–25 V)
   • Connect relays, lights, pumps, valves, or alarms to the 4 relay outputs (Type C, NO/NC)
   • Supply DC power via PWR1 (8.5–38 V) or PWR2 (5 V) terminal/jack
2. Connect to the network
   • Plug in Ethernet (10/100Base‑T, auto‑sense), or
   • Insert a compatible USB Wi‑Fi dongle and join your 802.11b/g wireless LAN (Infrastructure mode)
3. Discover and configure with spFinder
   • Install the free spFinder tool on Windows
   • Automatically search for SIG‑5601 over LAN or USB
   • Choose DHCP or a static IP, set analog input modes (V / 4–20 mA / 0–20 mA), and save settings
4. Register to Sollae Cloud
   • Create or sign into your Sollae Cloud account
   • Use the device’s Client ID (shown in spFinder) to register it under your account
   • The device connects securely via MQTT over TLS 1.2 with client‑certificate authentication
5. Start monitoring, alerts, and control
   • View real‑time input values and I/O states on web dashboards
   • Configure email notifications and event rules
   • Control local outputs and other ezTCP devices (e.g., SIG‑5451, SIG‑5601) directly from the cloud

No custom programming is required—setup is done via spFinder and the Sollae Cloud web interface.

Simple Email Alerts & Cross‑Device Control

Once connected to Sollae Cloud, you can easily create rule‑based automation:

• Email notifications
  • Trigger emails when:
    • An analog input passes a preset threshold (e.g., sensor out of range)
    • A digital input changes state or counter value (rising/falling edges)
    • A digital output changes state
  • Ideal for maintenance, alarm forwarding, and condition monitoring without on‑site staff.
• Event‑based control of other ezTCP devices
  • Define events so that when a condition is met on this SIG‑5601, the cloud can:
    • Change its own relay outputs, or
    • Send commands to other ezTCP devices such as SIG‑5451 or another SIG‑5601
  • Enables simple IIoT logic (for example, if a temperature gateway exceeds a limit, turn on a fan or alarm relay on the SIG‑5601).
• Time‑based schedules
  • Create cloud schedules (like smartphone alarms) to turn outputs ON/OFF or pulse at specific times or days
  • Use for lighting, ventilation, signage, or recurring process operations.

All configuration is done via the Sollae Cloud web UI, with support for multi‑user access if needed.
